Hey all! It's been a great week here. We're continuing our lectures, this week our speaker is Paul Wilcox, an Australian native who now lives in Thailand. He's talking about "Clear Conscience", so far we've been talking about how the past shapes our lives and that we should embrace even the hard stuff because we can learn and grow from it. It really spoke to me today, because I've been dealing with some things that I didn't really even realize were there........hard to explain, but it was cool! These months are going to be emotionally draining for sure, but I know they'll be so good. Please continue to pray that God shows me those things that he wants to change in me - thank you!
In other news, we just found out where we're going on outreach! We'll be going to Urugay - actually a city that borders Uruguay and Brazil. We're working with Pablo's (our DTS leader) home church in this huge event that will be happening at the end of the year. We'll be developing a drama/music/video production that will be shown as a way to share the gospel with 25,000 teens in December. We'll also be performing dances and dramas throughout, and having intense intercession during the time that we're there. I'm so excited to get prepared and learn more about what we'll be doing.
That's about it, and I have to go cook dinner now! Thank you for all of your prayers and love!

Dear Caitlin,
Wow - Uruguay! I am so envious of your "oportunidad"! I have known a couple of people from Uruguay and, if they are any indication of the rest of their countrymen, you should find the people of that country to be warm, friendly and welcoming. I hope that you will make the most of the opportunity to become fluent in your Spanish and even learn some Portuguese since you are with Brazilians. It's a beautiful language, is easy to read, and I wish that I had taken it along with Spanish.
Hoping that you are staying well and in good spirits despite the long distance from home and family. We miss you and pray for you. Love, Aleta
